In September 2024, as the conflict in Lebanon escalated, 200 brave women from Sierra Leone, who had been working in Beirut but were forced to flee war-torn areas, found themselves stranded and without shelter. In response, a group of young Lebanese volunteers came together to provide them with temporary housing, meals, and essential daily support. Through the combined efforts of these volunteers and other humanitarian initiatives, most of the women are now set to return home, bringing hope amidst the challenges they faced.
